On Saturday the 25th November, to celebrate 10 years of Subtrakt, we have assembled one of our biggest line ups to date. With 2 massive headliners and a selection of our fave locals, the event will run from late afternoon into the early hours, across 2 stages. What's not to celebrate!

Fred P

Anyone that has followed the development of house music made in the USA over the last decade will certainly have met the art of Fred Peterkin aka Fred P aka Black Jazz Consortium aka FP Oner aka Anomaly. The NYC native is known as one of the hardest workers in the industry and has produced some of the most timeless modern house and techno records of the past 10 + years. A DJ that is constantly on the road playing from Berlin to Rio, from New York to Tokyo, Fred has proved that he is one of the great spiritual house master builders of our time and we can't wait to have him back to play Subtrakt for the second time.

Simon Caldwell

Simon Caldwell is one of a handful of DJ's whose name adds a certain integrity to an event. Playing since the early 1990’s to beer drinkers, bum shakers and radio listeners alike, he has managed to avoid the stifling 'style' classification so many other DJ's trap themselves into, keeping himself free to draw on his varied loves of deep, soulful house, techno, funk, jazz, electro, booty, hip hop and anything else which catches his ear.

Simon has supported (on the same stage) a list of internationals longer than your arm, including Theo Parrish, James Brown, DJ Sotofett, Todd Terje, Rolando, Herbert, Claude Young, Maurice Fulton, Grace Jones, Derrick Carter, Vakula, Moodymann, Actress, Onra, Moritz von Oswald, Charles Webster, Fred P and Frankie Knuckles, to name just a few.

He currently holds down Monday Sunset on FBI Radio, and is resident/co-promoter of Mad Racket, a Sydney underground party institution running since 1998. A true legend in the Australian underground music scene, we're stoked to finally invite Simon to play Subtrakt for the very first time.
