Hands up who likes a good time?!

Off the back of dropping their dynamite debut album "A Slight Hi", Sydney's switched-on popsters High-tails are hyped to announce a run of East Coast launches for the record. The band will hit the road in early December to make party in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, with special support on all dates from Melbourne's power-pop wonder Wesley Fuller. Tickets are on sale now, with full details below.

"A Slight Hi" features the singles "All The Time", which debuted via triple j's Home and Hosed, and "Into The Light", which Seven In The Mix declared is "a delectable pop vibration ... we need more feel good bands like this in these troubled times". The band more recently contributed album cut "Friends Forever" ahead of its release to the ongoing Thirty Days Of Yes mixtape for marriage equality.

The twelve-track album was produced by Chris Colonna, founder of triple j favourites Bumblebeez. After demo'ing at drummer Toby's mum's barn in Bega, Chris beamed himself in from his Braidwood bunker to track with the High-tails boys at studios on the Central Coast and in Sydney. Oh, and frontman Nick recorded some vocals in his bedroom, too! Upon the album's release Homemade Dynamite dropped comparisons to The Strokes, LCD Soundsystem and The Creases and frothed "It sounds like the band are having fun" while themusic.com.au raved of the album's depth "What sets them apart is their crisp, clear production, proclivity for ironic melodrama and the occasional image that catches you off guard".

In the lead-up to the release of the record High-tails played slots at Brisbane's BIGSOUND and Sydney's King Street Crawl festivals, as well as a jam-packed "secret house party" in the Sydney suburbs with support from Body Type and Spike Vincent. LunchBox gushed of a recent gig "In spite of how undeniably talented and brilliant High-tails are, they are relaxed and endearingly goofy", while themusic.com.au marvelled "'All The Time' even had passers-by on the street stopping to dance ... the gracious and engaged crowd weren't disappointed".

Giddy up, and come party-down with High-tails ... a good-time guaranteed for all
