One of last year's Brisbane break-outs came at the hands of Dopamine, who amongst an introductory three-track EP Outlaw and a subsequent follow-up single Ordinary People, set themselves up as one of the city's most exciting names in rich indie-rock, combining catchy hooks and earworming rhythms with subtleties of punk and heavier rock to put them in a unique lane amongst a quickly-saturating music scene. Resultedly, the five-piece went on to support The Delta Riggs and Last Dinosaurs amongst sold-out shows of their own, positioning themselves as local favourites on the live music circuit while others waited for what the group would welcome next. 'Decide' is a welcome return from the ensemble that spotlights why exactly they're so adored by the Brisbane audience, while channelling new sounds that styles that add to their versatility and range - an important thing in ensuring longevity. "The song is about the initial feelings that you feel in a relationship," explains vocalist and guitarist Finley Miller. "As in the uncertainty of where it will go and the hesitance to put all of your trust into someone with the fear that you could get hurt. You eventually do find out that even though there is a possibility that you could get hurt, you do have to trust the other person if you love them because it's better to have tried than never to have loved at all." Dopamine invite you to join in on the madness at the launch of their new single whilst letting you in on whats coming next!
